The Sounds of the Tattoo Machines… 🙂
IMO this was the Best so far for Art Tattoo Montreal Show / Festival du Tatouage de Montréal. Many Tattoo Artists from all over with plenty of space and breathing room for everyone where as the location was really big and not tight and cramped. I went for 1 day for a couple of hours. It’s always nice to see some of the Tattoo Artists that i know and always great to meet new Tattoo Artists personally.
I didn’t go to get Tatted though I’d really like to get a Half Sleeve in the Future and I already know who I’d want to get Tattooed from and what I’d like to get as a Tattoo… 🙂
The artwork that is done all in one place is truly amazing, watching Tattoos being done Freehand was a treat… People coming to this Event being tattooed by their preferred Tattoo Artists… I walked the walk area looking at the progression of some of the tattoos and they were really impressive… Majority of the Clients sitting through it like a Rock while some were at the Point where it was starting to be uncomfortable or already beyond it…
For me it’s Inspiring…
Anyways…
Brought My Camera out with Me and I took a couple of Photos… I don’t like to Photograph what everyone else does so I decided to make My Series about the Needle to the Skin and try to get some photos of Tattoo Artists Drawing… Nothing is posed and everything is shot live during the session… If it’s not natural and if it’s posed I’m not going to take a shot. Thanks to the Tattoo Artists and Clients that had no problem with having their photos taken.
