TATTOO AFTERCARE POSTCARD INSTRUCTIONS:
-always wash your hands before handling your tattoo
-remove the bandage and wash your tattoo with warm water and antibacterial soap within 3-5 hours (do not wash your tattoo in public places, wait until you get home)
-do not use a sponge or washcloth, just use your clean hands to gently wash your tattoo
-do not bandage your tattoo again after removing the initial bandage
-keep your tattoo clean by washing it with warm water and antibacterial soap every day
-pat it dry with a paper towel or clean cloth towel
-moisturize your tattoo daily as needed with a thin layer of fragrance free lotion
-do not pick your scabs, scratch your tattoo, go to the beach, go swimming, tanning, or engage in activities that will put your tattoo at a high risk of infection. If you are unsure about what activities this might include, or have any questions related to your tattoo ask your artist
